Clean Living over Easy Living

Essential Oils: WARNING, oils are not magical and they are not an easy fix.

Oils are a compliment to a chemical-free lifestyle. Tylenol may have a faster onset and seem rather un-harmful, but using a peppermint oil on your temple to relieve the pain will also be effective without the long-term effects on the liver. If you eat at McDonald's every day but take an essential oil to help with digestion, I believe you are missing the point of supplementing your diet with DiGize (Young Living blend). If you use essential oils as a perfume but go to a tanning bed regularly and lather up the tanning bed lotions, I think you are missing the reason for using oils rather than chemical skin care products.

Essential Oils are a part of living a clean, chemical-free lifestyle. To live chemical-free, as natural as possible, you will need to commit to more time investing in your own health and well-being.

Oils are made from highly concentrated amounts of their various plants. These same plants are the basis for many medications which have been commercialized and synthesized to contain compounds our body is not designed to break down. The process of detoxing the body and living naturally in a chemical filled society proves difficult. I have been using essential oils for a year and have been learning more and more about living as chemically free as possible.

There are no quick fixes in life. Regardless of which area of your personhood you are looking to improve, there is always a process involved with growth. I know every person wants convenience over commitment and hard work. Let's be honest, we would all love an easy button to fix our problems. So diffuse some lavender and bergamot to relax as you decide to live differently.

Oils do help tremendously, but they require proper research and careful usage alongside a healthy lifestyle. I will share my struggles, personal testimonials, and changes here.
